Macro Topic- Topic area= Children and the Media
Hypothesis- Prediction= I believe that this investigation will demonstrate that violent video games can have a negative effect on the way children act in uncontrolled circumstances/use without parental guidance. I am going to investigate institutions that produce video gaming, along with case studies of children who have been affected. I will also investigate academic theories (such as Anderson V Buckingham) and link to audience theories on reception v effects. I believe that there may be positive effects of game playing. but this does not necessarily come under those games that are considered as violent.
